On Sunday October 4th, in honor of the feast of Our Lady of the rosary, St. Anne’s first pig roast was held.

A procession in honor of Our Lady was scheduled to follow the Mass. Sadly, due to rain this was cancelled.

A tent had been set up outside with tables and chairs. After mass everybody gathered and Fr. William Kimball said the Angelus and meal prayers. We had roast pig with all the fixings. It was delicious!

After everyone ate and had a good time over roast pork, the adults talked and the children went to play volleyball. The adults enjoyed beverages, cigars and each other’s company. We stopped volleyball for pizza, Fr. Kimball said the Angelus and meal prayers again.

After volleyball and pizza we had a 50/50 raffle. After the raffle Fr. Kimball got out his guitar, and we all sat around the bonfire and sang.

It appeared that everybody really enjoyed themselves and that they would come to it again. Thank you to all of the people that helped put this together.
